Best Places to Dance Salsa and Bachata in the World

As a full-time traveling digital nomad around the world and a growing bachata dancer, I am incredibly lucky to be able to dance around the world wherever I go. In the past year as I nomad around the world, I have also gained significant knowledge in the salsa bachata dancing scene in each city I lived in. I wish there were easier ways to get insider scoops of the best places to dance salsa and bachata in the world, specifically down to each major city.

Promos all look hot and sexy, but one only knows the quality when one goes there. So I thought I would contribute to this knowledge by creating a series of city guides for salsa and bachata dancing based on my personal experience.

1. Mexico City, Mexico

Mexico City is a hot spot for international expats and digital nomads. It also has one of the hottest dance scenes in the world. In this article, I went into detail to explain the top classes and socials I have experienced personally in CDMX.

4. Bansko, Bulgaria

Most people have never heard of Bansko, Bulgaria if they are not active in the nomad scene. Bansko is a tiny, picturesque village 3 hours away from the capital city of Sofia. It has been established as one of the most popular nomad hubs in the world due to its quality of life, low cost of living, and low flat-rate taxes for Europeans.

When I attended the annual nomad festival in the summer which easily attracted close to 1,000 attendees from around the world, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a small but active dance scene.
